Research Associate
Simon Schmidt, Ph.D., is a Research Associate in the lab of Dr. Greg Metzger. Simon graduated with his PhD in Physics from the University of Heidelberg with his thesis focusing on 4D flow. In his current position as a research associate at the CMRR, he has been involved in the development, optimization and evaluation of RF hardware, RF management and acquisition methods, advancing several project at 7T and 10.5T. He enjoys enjoys cooking, baking, spending time in the Minnesota outdoors and challenging himself with sports ranging from cross country skiing to mountain biking.
