Dr. Metzger is Graduate Faculty in the Biomedical Engineering and Medical Physics departments and can be primary advisor for students pursuing their Master or PhDs.  

Elnaz Mahmoudi

Biography

Elnaz will be joining the lab in Fall as a PhD candidate in the Biomedical Engineering Department.  She graduated with a B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tabriz and a M.Sc. degree in Microwave Engineering from the Sharif University of Technology. Most recently she received her M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering at Bilkent University advised by Ergin Atalar focusing on electromagnetic simulations and safety of RF coil arrays associated with head imaging at 7T.

Useong Yang

Biography

Useong is a gradute student in biomedical engineering pursuing his Masters.  He is focused on quantitative imaging and pipeline development for the prostate cancer diagnostic tools being developed in the Metzger lab along with  partners Flywheel and CaliberMD.

Tobey Haluptzok

Biography
Tobey Haluptzok received his B.S. in Physics  and is currently pursuing his PhD in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.  His focus is on RF coil design and other ultrahigh field technologies.
